The short version
- Nothing of yours goes online, into a portfolio or to anyone else without your written opt-in.
- Galleries are private and encrypted. Only you and BlackBunny can open them.
- If you ask us to delete your files, we do it within 90 days, or sooner if you tell us it is urgent.
- We see your ID once to check you are 18 or older. We do not copy or store it.
- Aliases are fine. We do not ask for a legal name to take a booking.
Your images
Raw files and edited images are stored on encrypted drives and in an encrypted cloud backup. Only BlackBunny has access. Files from your shoot are kept for the period needed to deliver your gallery and handle any re-edits. You can ask us to delete them at any time, and we will delete everything within 90 days of your request, or sooner if you tell us it is urgent.
Stripped metadata: images delivered under The Profile have location data, camera serials and edit history removed before you receive them.
Private galleries
You choose your final images from an encrypted, password-protected proof gallery. The link is not indexed by search engines and is not shared with anyone but you. If you want a friend or partner to look, you decide whether to pass the link on. We can set an expiry date on request.
Posting and portfolio use
We never post, share, enter into competitions or print your images publicly without your written opt-in, per image. That includes behind-the-scenes clips, social stories and the zine. If you do opt in, you can withdraw consent later and we will remove the image from our own channels promptly. We cannot recall things that others have already copied, which is why we ask before, not after.
Your commercial-use licence covers your own ads and listings. It does not give BlackBunny any right to use your images for promotion.
ID and age
BlackBunny only photographs people aged 18 and over. We sight your photo ID at the consult to confirm that. We do not photograph, copy, scan or store the ID, and we do not need your legal name on file if you work under an alias.
Enquiry form data
When you use the booking form, we receive your alias or name, contact details, package, dates, boundaries and anything you add. This is sent to us through a form-processing service and arrives in our inbox. We use it only to reply to you and organise your shoot. We do not sell it, add you to a mailing list or share it with other photographers or advertisers.
If you do not go ahead, we delete your enquiry within 90 days. Please do not put anything in the form that you do not want us to read: you can always give boundaries and sensitive details in person or on Signal instead.
This website
This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. The 18+ entry screen stores a single setting in your browser (local storage) so it does not ask you again. You can clear it any time. Fonts and images are served from this site.
Deleting your stuff
Email hello@blackbunny.me from the address or Signal account you booked with and say "delete". We will confirm by return message once your images, proofs and enquiry details have been removed from our systems and backups. Deletion on request is free.
Your rights and complaints
BlackBunny handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or make a complaint by emailing us. If we do not resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
